Steven Ferries - RACER Trainer/Sr. Cost Estimator/Analyst

Mr. Ferries is a Geologist and has been in the Environmental Remediation industry for 35 years. His estimating experience ranges from military, nuclear, mining, petroleum, and civil projects.

Steve’s professional experience areas include: conceptual and detail cost estimating for budgets and project development, RACER software design, management and training (worldwide) for numerous years working closely with DOD, DOE, EPA (State and Federal), design and implementation of cost estimating systems and templates, cost estimate 3rd party review, design and implementation of training for software and auditability of cost estimates for DOD, software testing, cost data management and analysis, maintaining pricing updates and commodities price lists, scheduling as well as phase I assessments.

Familiar with RACER Environmental Cost estimating, PACES, Timberline, MCACES II (MII), PROPRICER, Microsoft Office Suite, scheduling software

Richard Olsen - Sr. Cost Estimator/Template Design

Mr. Olsen has been in the steel manufacturing industry for 40 years. 

Some of Rick’s professional experience includes Conceptual, Detail and Budgetary Cost Estimating as well as Cost System Design and Detailed Costing Template development. Rick also has Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Process Control and Standard Data development experience in all manufacturing applications. Ricks experience in the Steel Foundry costing and management industry has led to significant efficiency improvements and cost savings with various companies. 

Rick is also a Software applications developer in Visual Basic and VBA with application development of a manufacturing Throughput Analysis program and various detailed cost estimating tools. Rick also conducts 3rd Party Estimate reviews for Accuracy, Auditability, Reasonableness and Completeness.

Michael Ghazizadeh - Program Manager/Analyst

Dr. Ghazizadeh is a professional geologist and senior member of the cost estimating team and has been in the environmental and oil and gas industries for 35 years. His estimating experience ranges from BRAC bases and oil and gas industry compliance assessment projects. 

Michael’s professional experience areas include: leadership of RACER cost estimating and required documentations and project development for the entire BRAC divisions for the US Air Force, RACER software module modification and software development including business rule development for automation of annual budget updates, RACER management and training for numerous years working closely with DOD and Corp of Engineer, cost estimating data management and analysis to ensure compliance with US Air Force Auditing Agency, project execution scheduling, private sector environmental assessment, landfill leaching collection system implementation, oil and gas field and natural gas pipeline compliance assessment, and underground storage reservoir integrity testing.

His goal has always been the support of organizations to provide value engineering, cost cutting and sustainability recommendations to clients.
